SUMMARY:FF Hiking Club\, Cascade\, April 11
DESCRIPTION:Our first hike of 2022 will be on Monday\, April 11 at Whitewater Canyon in the far northeast corner of Jones County. It is about a 45 minute drive from Marion. We will meet at Cascade Community Park\, Cascade around 11:45 for a picnic lunch\, then drive about 10 miles to the trailhead. This is a beautiful\, diverse area with caves\, a stream and sometimes wildlife. We hope you will join us! Please\nRSVP to Jean Thomas jeanthomas521@gmail.com. Indicate if you are driving or would like to carpool.\nJones County Naturalist Michele Olson will meet us at the trailhead\nat 1:00. We will have a variety of trails that can be covered in one to two hours. Be prepared with insect repellant\, appropriate dress for walking up and down sometimes muddy trails and a monetary donation to give Michele for Jones County Parks.\nThis is a beautiful\, diverse area with caves\, a stream and\nsometimes wildlife.
