SUMMARY:Hike Wildcat Den near Muscatine\, IA
DESCRIPTION:Greetings hikers! You are invited to hike with us at Wildcat Den State Park\,1884 Wildcat Den Road on Thursday\, October 27 at 1:00. We will meet Park Ranger Karri at the Pine Creek Gristmill parking lot for a guided tour of the Pine Creek Grist Mill\, built in 1848. Afterwards there will be several options for hiking. It is important to remember that all water to the park has been shut off and only latrine type toilets will be available. If you are interested\, we will also meet at The Serving Cafe\, 106 Main Street\, West Branch at 10:30am for a late breakfast/early lunch and drive together to the park. \nPlease wear appropriate shoes and clothing for hiking. Bring water\, insect repellent\, and a freewill donation to give Ranger Karri for the park.
