SUMMARY:Hike at MacBride Nature Recreation Center
DESCRIPTION:Hello all hikers and outdoor lovers.  Our next guided hiking opportunity is at MacBride Nature Recreation Area. It is arranged for 10am April 24 with a rain date of April 29.  We will have a guided two-hour hike with an experienced naturalist teaching us about the ecosystem and history of the Big Grove. Our meeting spot would be the main parking lot at 1830 Raptor Ridge Road  where there is a shelter\, water and flush toilets available. (This is in the same area as the raptor center our club has visited in the past.) Please bring water and insect repellent; walking sticks and hats are recommended.  Because of the educational component of this hike\, it would cost $150 per ten people\, If you have questions\, reach out to Jean Thomas\, 319 830-5092. \n
