January 2020 General Meeting

General Meeting will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 2:00PM – 4:00PM at Hiawatha Public Library, 150 W, Willman St, Hiawatha, IA 52233. Enjoy our speaker as well as learning about 2020 club activities.
Speaker: Eva Ross telling her compelling story about living in Poland and then escaping Poland with her mother, living in a refugee camp, and then coming to the US at the end of the 80s with the political crisis caused by the unraveling of the communists. It is difficult enough being an immigrant, but as a young teenager just learning what life is about and not understanding what is happening, made this journey even more difficult.
